Built by a family.
Trusted by an industry.
Since 1980, Key Maintenance Technologies has connected North American mechanics, fleets, and operators with the specialized products that keep hard-working equipment running.
A family business, built like the equipment we sell.
Key Maintenance Technologies got its start in 1980 and was formally incorporated in 1987 — almost half a century of staying stubbornly, proudly Albertan. We're a 100% Alberta-owned company, but our reach isn't local: we work directly with manufacturers and suppliers across Europe, the United States, and Asia to bring hard-to-find maintenance solutions home to North American shops.
What hasn't changed since day one is the reason customers call us: we pride ourselves on chasing down innovative solutions to the maintenance problems other suppliers shrug off, and on the kind of customer service that comes from actually knowing the person on the other end of the phone.
People ask what we compare to. Honestly? Not much.
It gets hard to find a comparison at all: nobody else brings ultra capacitors, battery maintenance solutions, and heavy-duty brass terminals under one roof. A true one-of-a-kind boutique.
"We're kind of a boutique — a small, high-end company that offers special services and products."
— Greg, FounderUltra Capacitors
There isn't really anyone else offering ultra capacitor solutions for the applications we serve.

Meet Your Technical Sales Representative
The friendly face behind your maintenance solutions.
Samantha Bunes
Samantha brings a science-first approach to solving her customers' toughest maintenance challenges. A University of Alberta graduate, she got her start in sales the hard way — going door to door for a home services company — where she learned that trust is earned one conversation at a time. That lesson has stuck with her ever since.
Before joining KMT, Samantha spent time working abroad in Egypt, an experience that broadened her perspective and sharpened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, she puts that same curiosity and people-first mindset into every customer relationship, taking the time to understand exactly what a business needs before recommending a solution. For Samantha, technical sales isn't about pushing product — it's about listening first and building partnerships that last.
